Cookie Policy

Cookies and browser storage used by the Pawley website.

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Draft for review. Pawley’s legal operator details and final commercial policies are still to be confirmed.

What browser storage does

Cookies are small values a website stores in your browser and receives on later requests. Local storage keeps values in your browser until you or the website remove them. Pawley uses these mechanisms for functions such as signing in and remembering interface preferences.

Sign-in and security

When you sign in, Supabase authentication cookies maintain the session and allow protected pages to recognise your account. Their names may include a project reference and the sb- prefix, and their lifetime follows the authentication configuration and session refreshes. Signing out ends the active sign-in session. Security and anti-abuse services may also process browser information when enabled.

Preferences

The site can remember a language preference using NEXT_LOCALE, a theme preference in local storage under theme, and sidebar display preferences in cookies. Where a cookie notice is displayed, cookie_consent_status in local storage records your choice. These preferences are separate from booking records stored on our servers. Local storage generally remains until it is cleared.

Analytics and advertising

The current application uses a no-op analytics provider, so its analytics integration does not send events to an analytics vendor. This statement does not cover ordinary hosting or security logs. No advertising-cookie integration is configured in the application reviewed for this draft. Any optional tracking added later must be assessed, described here and subject to consent where required before it runs.

Managing storage

Use your browser’s privacy settings to inspect or delete cookies and site storage, or to block future storage. Clearing local storage removes saved preferences and any recorded cookie choice. Blocking authentication cookies can prevent sign-in or access to account features. Clearing browser data does not cancel bookings or delete server-side personal information; use the contact page for those requests.

Third parties and changes

Following a link to WhatsApp or another external service takes you to a service with its own storage practices. Cookie names and lifetimes can change with configuration; the final production inventory must be checked when the website is deployed. Contact Pawley with questions, and see the Privacy Policy for information about booking and care records.
